What is 1706?

1706 is a theatrical horror experience lasting approximately 55 minutes (time may vary due to interactivity). The experience is fully engaging, interactive and visceral. It’s immersive theatre, meaning that the audience actually becomes part of the show itself. How scary the experience is really depends on how far you allow yourself to get engrossed in it. But in the end it’s all about having fun and enjoying the show!

 

If I attended 1706 in the past, will this be a different experience?

Yes! 1706 is returning at a completely different venue with an all-new, original play titled “The Masked Ones.”

 

Do I have to make a reservation online or can I pay when I get there?

Advance reservations are required. Tickets will not be sold on location.

 

How much are tickets?

Tickets for 1706 are $45 per person. Aforementioned price does not include tax.

 

Do you offer any discounts?

Enter promo code GROUP10 to receive 10 percent off tickets when purchasing all twelve tickets for any single showtime. Or enter promo code MATINEE10 to receive 10 percent off tickets for our 5:30 p.m. matinee showtime on Sundays. Promo codes are not combinable. Promo codes must be entered at checkout and can not be applied to previous purchases.

 

Why is there an age restriction for 1706?

This experience is for adult audiences only. Absolutely no one under the age of 18 will be admitted. Guests will be asked to sign a release of liability waiver with their legal name, acknowledging that they are at least 18 years old and are willing to participate in 1706 at their own risk. Guests who choose not to sign the waiver will not be allowed to participate and will not be refunded. All guests must be able to present a valid ID card.

 

Where exactly is 1706 located?

As part of the experience, 1706 is held at an undisclosed site-specific venue in Honolulu. After purchase, you shall receive a confirmation email including a password to access the portal on our website. There you will find an address to a nearby parking lot. Even if you are not driving, this parking lot is where you will need to wait to be picked up and taken to our clandestine location. 

 

Why didn’t I receive a confirmation email?

You may have entered an incorrect email address during checkout or the email may be in your junk mail folder. If you need this email resent or have trouble accessing location information, contact us immediately (preferably no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled showtime).

 

How early before my scheduled showtime do I need to arrive?

Plan on arriving at least 45 minutes early. You will be picked up at a designated parking lot approximately 30 minutes prior to your scheduled showtime. Please take into consideration any possible delay in your commute including, but not limited to traffic. Late arrivals will not be picked up and, therefore, will not be admitted.

 

How do I reschedule my reservation?

If you need to reschedule, you must contact us at least three days (72 hours) before your scheduled showtime. If you contact us after this period, or if your reservation was made within this period, your reservation can not be rescheduled. Please be aware that we have a strict no-refund policy. All sales are final and nonrefundable.

 

What happens if I’m late or I can’t make it?

Late arrivals will not be admitted. Rescheduling or refunds will not be offered to late arrivals or no-shows.

 

If it rains, will 1706 be cancelled?

No. 1706 happens rain or moonshine. No refunds will be given due to weather.

 

What is the parking situation there?

For your convenience, free self-parking will be provided at a nearby parking lot.

 

What should I wear?

Wear nonrestrictive clothes and comfortable shoes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty, stained, scuffed and/or wet. Please dress appropriately. High heels are prohibited. Costumes, masks and face paint are also prohibited.

 

What can I bring?

You will not be allowed to carry any personal belongings during the experience. Bags, purses, cellphones, cameras and any other recording or light-emitting devices are not permitted inside the venue. Guests may utilize lockers on location if necessary.

 

What should I be prepared for?

Guests will be asked to perform certain actions throughout the experience. You may be physically touched or moved as our actors come in contact with you (but you can not in any way return the contact). Guests should be prepared to sit, stand, walk, crawl, climb stairs and more.

 

What are the rules of 1706?

Guests will be verbally briefed prior to their scheduled showtime. Please note that all rules are strictly enforced with zero tolerance. If you violate any rules, become rowdy (noisy, disorderly, aggressive, etc.), disturb or disrupt the experience in any way, you will be immediately removed with no refund.

 

Are there any restrictions to experiencing 1706?

Please do not show up intoxicated. Persons who appear to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be denied entry without a refund. Additionally, this experience may not be suitable for some people due to thematic content, disturbing images and effects which may be too intense. You must be able to climb stairs to attend 1706. You should not attend if you have heart conditions or abnormal blood pressure, medical sensitivity to strobe effects, medical sensitivity to fog effects, are pregnant and/or faint of heart. Due to the physically demanding nature of this experience, those in wheelchairs or crutches can not be admitted for safety reasons. Enter at your own risk!
